The association stated in a release that they would stage a remonstration on September 13 in front of the office of the Elementary Officer in every district. If that fails to grip the State governments attention, then the association threatened to lock the office of the Elementary Officer in every district. The decisions were taken at an extended executive committees meeting. The presedent of the association Traloikya Deka said that the Education Minister has fallen back on his own partys assurances. “Although we have the State BJP president and several MPs support, the Education Minister, known for making controversial statements and curt remarks, instead of solving the problem is amplifying it. We humbly urge to keep the teachers out of their politics and as per their assurances, solve our issues otherwise we will not fall back from initiating an even bigger remonstration.” Also Read: Hold TET Exam Within A Month: Gauhati High Court Also Watch: Chandrayaan 2 Mission : Meet Nidhi Sharma (Scientist at ISRO) from Tinsukia
