BJP Launches Sewa Saptah With Blood Donation Camp In Guwahati

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: BJP launched the 'Sewa Saptah' all over India on Saturday and it graciously started with a blood donation camp here in the city. The Sewa Saptah is a noble initiative undertaken by BJP to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17. State BJP organized a blood camp as the first programme at the playground beside the State BJP headquarters in Hengrabari on Saturday. State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass, and BJP Northeast organizational secretary Ajal Jamwal, also participated in the camp, while NEDA convener Himanta Biswa Sharma donated blood at GMCH on Saturday morning. On August 15, the Prime Minister advocated a speech on plastic ban and thought the Sewa Saptah, we will try to generate awareness against the use of SUP (Single Use Plastic) and conduct seminars in educational institutions.

The week long programme is conducted in view of public interest from September 14 to 20. The Sewa Saptah is a noble initiative undertaken by BJP to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modis birthday on September 17. State BJP organized a blood camp as the first programme at the playground beside the State BJP headquarters in Hengrabari on Saturday. State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass, and BJP Northeast organizational secretary Ajal Jamwal, also participated in the camp, while NEDA convener Himanta Biswa Sharma donated blood at GMCH on Saturday morning. Ranjit Kumar Dass while delivering a speech said, “Since Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujrat, the Sewa Saptah has been conducted in Gujrat and after he became the Prime Minister, the programme has been organized all over India each year. On August 15, the Prime Minister advocated a speech on plastic ban and thought the Sewa Saptah, we will try to generate awareness against the use of SUP (Single Use Plastic) and conduct seminars in educational institutions.
