Assam Teachers Eligibility Test TET 2019 Exam Today

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: The Assam Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2019 Exam, conducted by SEBA (Secondary Board of Education, Assam), will be held on Sunday. Since 2012, this is the second time that general TET will be conducted in the State. A total of 3,93,479 candidates are appearing for the examination with 230482 in the Lower Primary TET category and 166079 in the Upper Primary TET category. According to SEBA, out of the 587 centres where the examination will be conducted, 60 per cent of them are sensitive centres. STAFF REPORTER GUWAHATI: The Assam Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2019 Exam, conducted by SEBA (Secondary Board of Education, Assam), will be held on Sunday. Since 2012, this is the second time that general TET will be conducted in the State. A total of 3,93,479 candidates are appearing for the examination with 230482 in the Lower Primary TET category and 166079 in the Upper Primary TET category. According to SEBA, out of the 587 centres where the examination will be conducted, 60 per cent of them are sensitive centres. As such, they areas have been made jammer zones and stringent security arrangements have been made for these centres. Also, of the 2.17 lakh candidates who have been rejected for not possessing B.ed L, the government has announced that their payments will be refunded.
