Two leopards attack Assam Engineering College AEC student

Staff ReporterGUWAHATI: A student of Assam Engineering College (AEC), Debabrata Chutia, was attacked by two leopards when he was strolling in the college campus on Friday evening. Chutia was, however, rescued by the people of the locality who rushed to the spot and chased the leopards away. Chutia, reading in the third semester of Civil engineering, is a boarder of Hostel No. V. He has the habit of going for an evening walk on the college campus. It is significant that hostel numbers V, VI, and VII of the college have no fencing.
