Railway Board Assam Police nabbed two railway e ticket touts in Shillong

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off from Railway Board, Assam police on Saturday arrested two people in charge of touting railway e-tickets. The accused have been identified as Priyajit Rajkumar and Raj Sharma. Rajkumar was arrested from Shillong's Pynthorbah area and following his confessing the police nabbed Sharma from the Mawlonghat area. The police have also recovered e-tickets worth Rs 30,861 from both the accused. Rajkumar was arrested from Shillongs Pynthorbah area and following his confessing the police nabbed Sharma from the Mawlonghat area. The police inquiry revealed that Rajkumar had a connection with several Pakistan based groups. The police have also recovered e-tickets worth Rs 30,861 from both the accused.
