STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: After the Centre signed an accord with the Assam government, National Democratic Front of Bodoland and its factions, various non-Bodo organizations are opposing the decision.
Addressing the press meet at Dispur Press Club, AAKRSU adviser Hitesh Barman stated, “When the BTC accord was signed we were not taken into discussion.
The non-Bodo communities living in the BTC (Bodoland Territorial Council) were politically, socially and economically deprived.” “Various non-Bodo villages were included into the BTAD (Bodoland Territorial Area Districts).
We have already been demanding the government to cut-off the non-Bodo villages from the BTAD.
