Materialize Profit B putra project Brahmaputra Management and Development Assam BMDA

Staff ReporterGUWAHATI: The Brahmaputra Management and Development, Assam (BMDA) central committee claimed on Sunday that project 'Profit Brahmaputra' prepared by its working president holds several possibility of development for Assam. Addressing a press conference at Guwahati Press Club, the BMDA central committee claimed that the committee had submitted the design of the project to the State government before three years, besides holding a discussion with the Chief Minister. The BMDA leaders said that even though the government recognized the necessity and importance of the project at that time, yet they've not yet taken any action towards materializing the project. Hence they appealed to the government to materialize the said project in People Public Private Partnership (PPPP) mode. Claiming that the project will solve the issue of flood and erosion, unemployment and many others the BMDA central committee urged the government not to delay anymore in taking a positive decision and initiatives towards materializing the project.

Addressing a press conference at Guwahati Press Club, the BMDA central committee claimed that the committee had submitted the design of the project to the State government before three years, besides holding a discussion with the Chief Minister. The BMDA leaders said that even though the government recognized the necessity and importance of the project at that time, yet theyve not yet taken any action towards materializing the project. The committee further claimed that the issues that Assam is currently dealing with can be resolved by creating an environment based on the river Brahmaputra which will lead Assam towards a sound economy. Hence they appealed to the government to materialize the said project in People Public Private Partnership (PPPP) mode. Claiming that the project will solve the issue of flood and erosion, unemployment and many others the BMDA central committee urged the government not to delay anymore in taking a positive decision and initiatives towards materializing the project.
