GUWAHATI: Pipeline headquarters of Oil India Limited (OIL) organized its 61st Foundation Day on Tuesday. The day was celebrated across the different pump stations of the pipeline sphere which stretches across three states – Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar. In the pipeline headquarters at Guwahati, the day started with a pledge taking ceremony by the employees who expressed solidarity. This ceremony was led by an executive director- PLA (i/c) KT Varkey along with other officials. Later, a technical session was organized which was chaired by retired general manager (SB) Mohandas Bhandaru. The session was followed by a motivational talk by the eminent speaker of Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. The program ended with a vote of thanks by the vice-president of Indian Oil Workers Union Sabitri Das.
