NEEPCO to extend all possible assistance to local administration in the wake of COVID 19

GUWAHATI: All operating power plants of NEEPCO have been advised to extend all possible assistance to the local administration for helping the communities around their plant/project areas in terms of essential medical supplies, dry ration, ambulance, etc in the wake of COVID-19, a press release said. NEEPCO has also instructed all the plant heads to take care of the employees. The power plants are run by bare minimum manpower. The contractors' workmen who are manning essential services like power supply and safety repair activities will also be extended all possible assistance, the release added.
