P&RD employees extend Rs 25 lakh Staff Reporter GUWAHATI: The contractual employees appointed in the Panchayat & Rural Development Department (P&RD) department have contributed a total of Rs. 20 lakh to Assam Governments Arogya Nidhi. A total of 8,412 employees have decided to contribute the amount from their salary to Chief Minister Relief Fund and Assam Arogya Nidhi. Earlier the employees gave a cheque of Rs. 20, 01,513 to chief minister on April 27 and on Tuesday they gave a cheque of Rs. 20 lakh to the health minister for Assam Arogya Nidhi through Minister Naba Kumar Doley. The ASRLM (Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission) employees too donated Rs. 5, 73,233 to Chief Minister Relief Fund on April 27 and on Tuesday the ASRLM employees again gave a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh to Assam Arogya Nidhi. Besides this Minister Naba Kumar Doley contributed Rs. 1 lakh of his own to Assam Arogya Nidhi. It is to be mentioned that recently Doley contributed Rs. 1.50 lakh to CM relief fund and Rs. 50 thousand to PM care Fund.
