COVID 19 lockdown Stranded people leave Guwahati for Rajasthan

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: The 18 buses that brought 391 stranded Assam students from Kota have been sent back to the State with people of Rajasthan stranded in Assam. The initiative was taken by the Northeast Marwari Federation and a total of approximately 300 people embarked on the 1,900 kilometre bus journey on Wednesday. All 300 people on board the special buses are from different parts of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Bikaner. Further, all meals for the passengers have been sponsored and taken care of by the federation. According to reports, most of the passengers were working in the State since last several years.

Further, all meals for the passengers have been sponsored and taken care of by the federation. According to reports, most of the passengers were working in the State since last several years.
