Sarbananda Sonowal, Assam Chief Minister  reviewed the progress of flagship schemes of the Central and the state government, which are being implemented in Dibrugarh and Tinsukia.

Chief Minister directed the officials to take up the schemes on a priority basis and ensure implementation without any irregularity.

Sonowal directed the officials to prepare a roadmap for speedy implementation of the schemes. Instructed them to prepare an additional list of left out beneficiaries under PMAY so that such families could be covered under this flagship scheme.

He also said that the State government would take appropriate steps for expediting the AADHAR registration process to ensure that no eligible family is left out.

The CM also reviewed the execution of nutritional schemes, Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana and celebration of POSHAN month etc.

He further asked the officials to maintain the quality of food items provided to women and children and ensure that no anomaly takes place in the implementation process.

He also directed to take committed steps for effective implementation of central and state government schemes targeted to the divyangjans and suggested to carry out a health check of physically disabled persons to step up registration of divyangjans.

The Chief Minister also took stock of the progress of schemes and activities being carried out by APDCL, PHE, Agriculture, Water Resources and other departments.
