Dutta was arrested by West Bengal Police on Tuesday from Kakarbhitta along the Indo-Nepal border
BJP leader Diban Deka, one of the prime accused in the case of Assam Police SI recruitment scam, was remanded to 14-day judicial custody. CID quizzed both PK Dutta and Diban Deka face-to-face and which Deka was produced before the court.
3 persons including Rupam Das, Tarinikanta Banikya and Pradip Kumar, who were arrested from Bongaigaon and Manjit Bora, who was arrested from Kahilipara, for their involvement in the case, have been remanded to 5-day police custody.
Up till now, 47 people have been arrested for their involvement in the SI question paper leak case.
