Guwahati: N.F. Railways starts special trains to Mumbai (CSMT) and Daund Junction

In view of the massive surge in the number of passengers due to the Covid-19 virus, Indian Railways has decided to run special trains for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Daunt Junction Railway Station (DD).

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will operate two special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) - Guwahati and Daund Junction - Guwahati to tackle the present rush of passengers due to Covid-19. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) - Guwahati Superfast Special will depart from Mumbai at 11:05 am on Sunday and will reach Guwahati at 2:15 pm on Tuesday. The train will run for three trips between Mumbai and Guwahati.

The first journey of the train departed from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on 11 April and later the second and third journey will leave from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on 18 and 25 April respectively. In the return direction, Guwahati-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Superfast will leave Guwahati at 7:20 am to reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 4:10 am on Friday.

The first journey of the train will depart from Guwahati on 14 April and the second and third journey on 21 and 28 April respectively, on the other hand, Daund Junction - Guwahati Superfast Special will run for three trips - on 16, 20 and 30 April, from Daund Junction on Friday at 8:30 pm and it will arrive Guwahati at 12:30 am on Monday.
