70 'Super 30' students from NE crack IIT JEE-Advanced

Of these 121 students, who qualified the JEE Mains, 99 finally qualified the coveted JEE Advanced entrance test - 29 from Jodhpur, 22 from Jorhat, 17 each from Guwahati and Dibrugarh, and 14 from Itanagar. GUWAHATI; : A total of 99 students from the weaker sections of the society, trained under Oil India Super 30 , have cleared the IIT-JEE (Advanced) this year.Oil India Super 30, Guwahati - a unit of Abhayanand Super 30 - was started in 2010 where 30 underprivileged but talented students from different corners of Assam were selected through a diligent process of written test and interview, but now it has fanned out to four other centres located in Jodhpur (Rajasthan), Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh).Out of 150 students who were trained under the programme, 121 students cracked in JEE Mains in 2017.
