Shettar asks Rahul to clear stand on Mahadayi dispute

Hubballi: Leader of opposition Jagadish Shettar has demanded that Congress president Rahul Gandhi clear his stand over the long-standing Mahadayi water dispute He told reporters here on Saturday: “Rahul should convince Goa Congress leaders not to object to the release of water to Karnataka . Otherwise, it will be clear that Rahul is playing game in the water issue.”Shettar said that Rahul’s Karnataka tour do not benefit the Congress but the BJP. This trend will repeat in Karnataka too,” he said.The former CM said that Rahul is touring Karnataka as he has the compulsion to do it as the AICC president “The BJP has come to power in whichever the state he visited.
