HUBBALLI: Four people were wounded after a clash between two families over collection of water released by the HDMC turned violent at Gollara Oni under Bendigeri police station limits on Friday night. Police arrested six people in connection with the case on Saturday. The injured include two members from each family. Policemen have been deployed in the area to prevent any untoward incident.Bendigeri police inspector D Santosh Kumar told STOI that there was tussle between women belonging to Gollara and Sikkalagara families.The clash turned more violent after the involvement of men.Police resolved the matter on Friday night, but a clash broke out again on Saturday morning.
