Hubballi: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah said that injustice was not done to north Karnataka in the budget . He told reporters at the Hubballi airport here on Tuesdaythat all the programmes and projects announced to north Karnataka by the previous Congress government have been continued in the budget. We had also given Rs 3,000 crore as per the recommendations of the Nanjundappa Committee Report. The last government announced Rs 1,500 crore to Hyderabad Karnataka under article 371 J of the Constitution. Along with Badami, priority will also be given for the development of north Karnataka, he said.

However, demanding separate statehood Karnataka is uncalled for. We should dream a united Karnataka. We had also given Rs 3,000 crore as per the recommendations of the Nanjundappa Committee Report. We also released funds for Upper Krishna Project," he said.Siddaramaiah said he would convene a KDP meeting in Badami. Along with Badami, priority will also be given for the development of north Karnataka, he said.
