Hubballi: BJP is trying to woo Congress MLAs to form its government in the state, alleged KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao . Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Rao said BJP’s efforts won’t be successful at any condition. “Though it does not have the people’s mandate, BJP is hungry for power,” he added.He said the cabinet expansion and appointment of chiefs to corporation and boards will be done after urban local body elections. Taking BJP MPs to task, he said they made no contribution to the state in the last four years. “They have also failed to resolve Mahadayi and Cauvery water disputes and did nothing to get relief from the union government during droughts in state,” he alleged.“The BJP government in the centre is the worst government and it has not fulfilled any of its assurances. As the Lok Sabha election may be announced anytime, Congress-JD(S) alliance is gearing up to face it effectively. A meeting in this regard is scheduled for September 21,” he said.
