DHARWAD: Home minister M B Patil stated that the government is committed to bringing reforms in the police department to help it combat new-age crimes and improve efficiency.Addressing the fourth batch of civil police trainees at the passing out parade at Police Training School here on Tuesday, he assured that the recommendations of Auradkar Committee will be implemented to address the issues of anomalies and provide better facilities to police personnel, particularly the constabulary.He said that the state government has decided to adopt best practices from other states and ensure that Karnataka police rank first in overall efficiency.
