HUBBALLI: Coalition government coordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah has said that both the Congress and JDS are yet to start a discussion regarding seat sharing between the two parties for the upcoming Lok Sabha election in Karnataka He was speaking to mediapersons here at the Hubballi airport on Thursday before proceeding to his constituency Badami . Siddaramaiah said an election committee meeting was held already but regarding the sharing of Lok Sabha seats, both the parties are yet to meet. “I am yet to meet JDS supremo H D Devegowda, candidates will be announced before the Election Commission of India issues a notification,” he said.He also said that former Union minister and Sandalwood star late Ambareesh’s wife Sumalatha had met him and informed that the party workers were forcing her to contest from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency. “I just told her that the party will look into her plea and decision in this regard is yet to be made,” he said.He refuted allegations that there was a rift between both the parties. “We are running a coalition government, minor confusions might be there but they will be solved mutually. Both the parties will fight the Lok Sabha election unitedly,” he said.The former CM also clarified that party general secretary in-charge of east Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi Vadra would not contest Lok Sabha election from Karnataka, he said all the report of Priyanka contesting election from the state were baseless.Expressing confidence that the Congress and JDS would get more than 20 seats in the election, the people were fed up by the misrule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi .
