HUBBALLI: Gokul Road police seized Rs 2.4 lakh from a passenger at Hubballi airport on Saturday evening.Police inspector Dilip Nimbalkar told STOI that the airport staff noticed bundles of cash while checking the bags of Nithin Meshwade. Police are yet to ascertain why Meshwade was the boarding flight from Hubballi. Meshwade, a resident of Noida in Uttar Pradesh was about to board a Bengaluru-bound flight on Saturday evening, he said.The staff alerted the police who visited the airport along with a flying squad.
