Makeshift Emergency Covid19 Ward at KIMS Premises: Hubli

Karnataka`s Hubli is in a developing emergency ward in the Covid19 surge in all the parts of India. 

A makeshift emergency ward for Covid-19 patients is being set up at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) premises here.

This makeshift ward would be a separate facility for Covid-19 patients who come to the KIMS. Before getting shifted towards, Covid patients will be housed in the makeshift emergency ward.

Speaking to the media after inspecting works to construct a makeshift emergency ward, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that this emergency ward would have 66 beds with oxygen supply and would be ready within 10 days.

“This is the first such initiative in the State and the district administration has already issued an order for getting the makeshift ward ready,” the minister added.
