Flight Tyre burst while landing In Hubli: Indigo

Airports Authority of India said that there were wind and rain at the flight’s time of landing. 

A flight from Kerala`s Kannur, while landing in Karnataka`s Hubli met with a drastic fault. Indigo Flight 6E 7979 tyrer got burst at night while landing at Hubli. 

Indigo had confirmed this incident with its spokesperson saying, "IndiGo ATR operating 6E 7979 from Kannur to Hubli reported a tyre burst at Hubli upon arrival [ Monday] evening.”

The aircraft, however, landed safely at around 8.35pm on Monday with seven passengers and four crew.

“All passengers and crew are safe. The aircraft is currently undergoing maintenance checks at Hubli,” the IndiGo spokesperson added.

All passengers were safely deboarded and the runway was cleared for operations at 2.20am. This was the last flight of the day, hence the airport remained unaffected. All our operations are normal on Tuesday.
