Six killed as bus, MUV collide

The vehicle rammed into a bus, which was plying from Vijayapura to Hubballi.Passengers travelling in the bus also sustained injuries. Rahul Mule,21, and Arjun from Banajager village in Akkalakot taluk of Solapur district were injured, and admitted to Bilagi government hospital for treatment.Negligence on the part of drivers of both vehicles caused the accident, said sources.Bagalkot superintendent of police C B Rishwant and Bilagi CPI Srishail Gabidi rushed to the spot.The Bilagi police registered a case in this connection, as per a complaint filed by the bus driver, and are investigating.
