Waterfalls to be promoted in Adilabad

Mr. Ramanna and Mr. Jha also visited Pochera waterfall. The Forest Department is planning to develop two well known waterfalls in Adilabad district as tourist spots as is evident from the visit of Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests P.K. The Minister and the Head of Forest Force visited Kuntala waterfalls in Neredigonda mandal first and evaluated the scope for its development as a tourist place. The Department is planning to spend about ? 10 crore from its funds and those of the Forest Development Corporation for the purpose. They discussed about the means to make the climb down and up the foot of the falls easier for the visitors.
