Jerusalem Mathai petitions CJI

Mr. Mathai charged in the letter that he was receiving threats from leaders of ruling parties of the Telugu States in connection with the case. Social worker Jerusalem Mathai, whose name figured as an accused in the sensational cash-for-vote scam, on Friday wrote to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) to permit him to explain his version and to exonerate him from the case. Alleging that both Governments were involved in criminal and unlawful activities, he said they were even trying to kill him.
