B.Sc (Forestry) admission through EAMCET

Irrespective of the subjects taken in the qualifying examination, candidate seeking admission into B.Sc (Forestry) should appear for BPC in the EAMCET, according to the notification. The State Government has decided to add forestry as a full-time course as part of the professional graduation courses offered by different colleges and admission to this course will be through EAMCET. The Government has decided to introduce B.Sc (Forestry) along with the engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, medical and dental courses. The Government has accordingly made amendments to the Telangana Common Entrance Test for entry into these courses through the EAMCET/EAMCET-AC entrance test inserting Forestry as an elective. Candidates should obtain at least 45 % marks (40 % in case of SC/ST candidates) in the subjects taken at 10+2 or Intermediate, according to the orders (GO Ms. 5) issued by the Higher Education Department on Friday.

Candidates seeking admission into the four-year course should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognised as its equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education in either Biology, Physics, Chemistry (BPC) or Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry (MBPC).
