| Wednesday | 14th March, 2018
TPCC vice-president and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar has strongly condemned the expulsion of two Congress legislators and suspension of 11 others for the rest of the budget session.
He demanded that the TRS government rethink its decision on the expulsion and suspension of Congress legislators, presenting the video recordings before the Assembly.
labelling it as an “undemocratic and autocratic decision” of the TRS government.
The Speaker, in a democratic manner, had passed the Telangana Bill, he said, and flayed the TRS government for its undemocratic and autocratic rule in Telangana.
He alleged that the government had targeted S.A. Sampath Kumar since he had approached the court against legislators defecting to TRS.
