Commuters in Hyderabad given buttermilk to beat the heatHYDERABAD: As the maximum temperatures in Hyderabad touched 40 degrees, people set up stalls of buttermilk for commuters. According to the stallholder, Rajkumar, they distribute buttermilk to every commuter during the afternoon hours to help them withstand the heat wave. Rajkumar and his companions daily distribute buttermilk to the commuters. Parts of city were scorched with maximum temperatures getting recorded above 42 degree Celsius on Friday. The highest temperature recorded in the city was 42.7 degree Celsius at Madhapur.
