Hyderabad: Mr. Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police hosted Iftaar Party on 24th May at Chowmahalla Palace, Khilwat Hyderabad. It was attended by Dy. CM of TS, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali and other dignitaries of the Muslim community. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mr. Mahmood Ali told that Hyderabad is famous throughout the world for its Gang-Jamuna civilization. It is also applauded for maintaining peace and tranquility. He pointed out that the city which maintains peace, development is bound to happen. He told that during the past 4 years, no unpleasant incident took place in Hyderabad. It has given ample opportunities for the youths to progress. Mr. Mahmood Ali further told that Hyderabad City Police is taking necessary steps for the protection of citizens and to inculcate self-confidence among the youths which are laudable. Home Minister, Mr. Narasimha Reddy told that Police has been successful to maintain law and order with the cooperation of the public. He congratulated DGP, Mr. M Mahender Reddy and said that under his leadership, City Police is functioning well. Commissioner of Police, Mr. Anjani Kumar told that Hyderabad enjoys a special status in the entire country. It is the best city which is known for its Ganga-Jamuna Civilization. He mentioned that Hyderabad was awarded ‘best livable city’. He further told that under the stewardship of CM of TS, Mr. KCR, the State is being transformed into ‘Golden Telangana’. Mufti Khaleel Ahmed, VC of Jama Nizamia offered prayer. The interesting thing was that all the police officials were dressed in Sherwanis. Present on this occasion were Maulana Qubool Pasha Qadri, Mr. Mohammed Saleem, MLC and Chairman Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Qamaruddin, Chairman, Minorities Commission, Ms. Katherine Hadda, US Counsel General, Hyderabad, Mr. Andrew Fleming, Dy.
