‘Solar Power’ unit in Civil Supplies Bhavan set up

Hyderabad: In the process of environmental conservation and power saving, the Telangana State Civil Supplies Department has decided to use Solar Power. A Solar unit with capacity of 50 KW worth Rs 35 lakh was established in the Civil Supplies Bhavan at Somajiguda. The Commissioner said in the process of encouraging Green Energy, solar power project has been established in the Civil Supplies Department. Civil Supplies Department Commissioner Akun Sabharwal inaugurated the solar unit on Sunday. With help of solar power, load on customary power consumption will reduce.
