‘Govt.’s first KG to PG campus soon’

The campus has government primary school in Telugu medium and Urdu medium, Government High School in Urdu medium and the Government Junior College. Once the buildings were constructed it would be the first campus where the government’s first KG to PG scheme would come into force. The Minister said that about 6,000 students were using the facilities in the campus from school to college. However, despite the huge land available in the campus there were not enough buildings and facilities to meet the needs of the students. Out of the 75,000 teachers, 40,000 teachers have been shifted in the recent transfers.

more-in Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari has assured that the government educational institutions campus in Falaknuma would be developed into a model campus and asked the officials to prepare a master plan within 15 days so that all the buildings could be constructed within a year. He visited the campus along with the local legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi to inspect the facilities to be created for the new degree college sanctioned recently. The Minister, who is also a former lecturer, took a Chemistry class for the students. The campus has government primary school in Telugu medium and Urdu medium, Government High School in Urdu medium and the Government Junior College. The Minister said that about 6,000 students were using the facilities in the campus from school to college. However, despite the huge land available in the campus there were not enough buildings and facilities to meet the needs of the students. He said all the schools and colleges in the campus would be restructured and a new junior college building with ?3 crore and a degree college building with ?5 crore would be constructed. Once the buildings were constructed it would be the first campus where the government’s first KG to PG scheme would come into force. The Minister said there was a shortage of teachers and lecturers after the recent transfers but the government wants to fulfill the gap with vidya volunteers and guest lecturers. Out of the 75,000 teachers, 40,000 teachers have been shifted in the recent transfers. However, all the issues related to shortage would be dealt with before July 31.
