KCR selected for ‘Udyama Ratna’ Award

Hyderabad: Srinivasa Ramanuja Foundation (SRF) has selected Caretaker Chief Minister and TRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao for the ‘Udyama Ratna’ award, in recognition of his sustained struggle for achiecing separate Telangana Statehood. Foundation state president, Thumma Amiresh, has announced this in a press note at Kamalapur in Warangal urban district. The award will be presented to KCR shortly at a function to be held in New Delhi, he said. He said it was nine years ago that KCR had undertaken fast unto death, forcing the Centre to make an announcement on Telangana formation on December 9, 2009. Source: NSS
