With the opposition parties blaming the government that nothing concrete has been done in the capital city in the last four and half years, the government is determined to prove them wrong with the study tours The state government has set its focus mainly on students, the key electorate in the next elections. The government would also organize similar trips to the village level public representatives like former sarpanches, MPTC, ZPTC and ruling party activists to make them strongly propagate the development of the capital city.“We are planning to allow the vehicles of the study tours of the students and public representatives from December 15 as the works on the roads are nearing completion,” municipal administration minister Dr P Narayana told TOI.While the works on proposed high court building were in the last leg, the construction of the IAS officers flats also picked up momentum. The CRDA had already decided to launch the works on the new secretariat with laying massive raft foundation from December 19.“Opposition parties are engaged in spreading lies. He explained that they have finalized the tenders for laying the roads and other infrastructure works in the plots granted to the farmers and works would be started shortly.
