HYDERABAD: It was a teary farewell for the three children who were killed in a tragic house fire in USA in December last year, as their last rites were performed in the city.The mortal remains of the siblings, Sathwika Sharon Naik Kethavath (18), Aaron Suhas Naik Kethavath (16) and Joy Suchitra Naik Kethavath (14) were flown home early on Friday.The funeral service, held at Narayanguda Baptist Church at 11am, was attended by a large number of mourners, who were there to show solidarity to the mourning family members.Parents of the siblings, Srinivas and Sujatha Naik were grappling with the insurmountable grief as they offered funeral services to their three children. While they were not in a condition to speak at the gathering and relatively calm, they broke down as friends and relatives remembered the children.“The parents are still in shock. They have been inconsolable from the day we received this news,” said Praveen Kumar, a relative.“We cannot imagine the plight of the parents. No parent should experience something like this. I came here with my wife after reading about the incident in a newspaper article. It is easier said than done but I hope the parents get enough strength to cope with this huge loss,” said Joel Mathew, a resident of Trimulgherry The bodies were taken to their native place at Gurrapu Thanda village near Deverakonda of Nalgonda district
