HYDERABAD: YSRC chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s claim that he is taking the help of Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to clinch a special category status (SCS) for Andhra Pradesh appears to be not holding any water, according to political analysts.They claimed TRS has been inconsistent on its support to granting SCS to AP and the Centre has repeatedly said no special category status would be given to the state of Andhra Pradesh.Political analyst and former MLC K Nageshwar said, “TRS has been inconsistent on the issue of special status to AP. In Parliament, they supported SCS, but during the recent Telangana assembly polls, they opposed it, stating all industries will move out in case this happens. The Federal Front is yet to take shape and, even if the front is formed, there is no certainty that it will have SCS on its agenda. Regional parties have conflicting interests.
