We are planning to recommend her name to the police commissioner for a reward for the courageous act,” Narsingi sub-inspector (SI) KM Raghavendra said.A dentist, Nikhila Bhagavatula, who witnessed the incident from her balcony, rushed to the spot and tried to resuscitate the boy, who stopped breathing.But there was no response from the boy and his mother immediately rushed him to nearby Shadan hospital.“At the hospital, the boy was declared brought dead, but the family members took him to two other hospitals where they got the same response. Finally from a hospital in Rethibowli, the family went to their native place in Tamil Nadu with the body,” the SI said.The Narsingi police coordinated with the family members and police in Tamil Nadu and got the post-mortem examination done at Tiruvallur on Tuesday. “Tiruvallur police booked a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and got the boy’s post-mortem done. They will later transfer the case here. Meanwhile, based on the complaint lodged by a resident of PBEL City, Vishal Singh, we registered a case under Section 304-A (causing death due to rash or negligent act) of the IPC against PBEL City Association, Incor, the developers of the project, and Golden Star Maintenance Team, who have the maintenance contract of the PBEL City,” SI Raghavendra said. The residents of PBEL City protested at the spot on Tuesday when representatives of Incor came there and TSSPDCL officials visited the crime scene to see what exactly went wrong.Based on their report, police would proceed with further investigation.
