After Metro Rail, Hyderabad to get electric buses soon

In September 2018, electric buses were flagged off from Secretariat but these buses are not available for the public. It may be mentioned that out of 100, forty electric buses have already reached Secunderabad Cantonment and Miyapur bus depots. of Telangana State had decided to launch electric buses in the city to provide end-to-end connectivity. Authentic sources indicated that trial run of electric buses has been completed and all the approvals have been obtained. to ply these buses on city routes.

Representational Photo Hyderabad: After Metro Rail, Govt. of Telangana State had decided to launch electric buses in the city to provide end-to-end connectivity. In September 2018, electric buses were flagged off from Secretariat but these buses are not available for the public. Authentic sources indicated that trial run of electric buses has been completed and all the approvals have been obtained. Authorities are waiting for green signal from the Govt. to ply these buses on city routes. It is expected that after the formation of the State Cabinet, permission will be accorded. It may be mentioned that out of 100, forty electric buses have already reached Secunderabad Cantonment and Miyapur bus depots.
