Hyderabad: Infant dies at Nilofer, family claims doctor’s negligence

As per the details, the baby was fed with milk due to which the infant died. Doctors said, “the infant was suffering from severe dehydration and even though she was intubated, their efforts could not save her. The infant brought to the hospital on February 7 and she succumbed on February 15 night.

The infant brought to the hospital on February 7 and she succumbed on February 15 night. As per the details, the baby was fed with milk due to which the infant died. Dr P S Vijayender Goud, president of Telangana Junior Doctor’s Association said, “The family was advised not to give any food or liquids to the baby but it was found that the baby was given milk. The baby went into distress due to this and could not be saved despite efforts,” Later, an infuriated relative of the patient attacked a PG doctor who suffered bruises as a result of the assault. Police have registered a case against the infant’s relative, under Section 332 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 4 of the Medical Services Act. They have taken into police custody.
