Hyderabad: Windstorm wreaks havoc; LB Stadium light tower collapses killing one

Though the weather became pleasant the rainstorm wreaked havoc in many parts of the city and damages have been reported from several areas. Hyderabad: Sudden rainstorm coupled with gusty winds played havoc in the twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad today evening, especially Old City on Monday evening, causing severe traffic problems. A light tower of Lal Bahadur Stadium collapsed resulting in the death of a person. Trees were also uprooted at many locations of the city following rain and winds. Many trees were uprooted owing to heavy winds.

Trees were also uprooted at many locations of the city following rain and winds.
