Masjid-e-Ek Khana: Police conducts meeting with Muslims

Hyderabad: Police conducted meeting with the Muslims of Amberpet to avoid further tension at Masjid-e-Ek Khan, Amberpet. It is also reported that the committee comprises of officials from Revenue, Police and Minority Welfare Departments. They were also asked not to pay heed to vested interests. The locals were asked not to indulge in unlawful activities. According to the report published in Telangana Today, addressing the local Muslims, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Mr. M. Ramesh said that Home Minister of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali has constituted a five-member committee to probe the demolition of the masjid.
