Hyderabad: Ganja racket busted at Aramghar

Hyderabad: Special Operation Team of Cyberabad police with the cooperation of Rajendranagar Police busted a racket of transportation of Ganja and arrested six persons including two girls. According to the report of the police, Shubham Singh is a professional criminal who is engaged in the transportation of ganja. Police are in search of the kingpin of this racket, Surender Singh who is absconding. DCP told that ganja was transported from Visakhapatnam area. He told that these raids were made at Aramghar crossroads during the search operation.

Police seized 13 Kg. ganja from their possession and Rs. 1,80,000 cash. DCP of Shamsabad, Mr. Prakash Reddy, in a press conference held yesterday informed that Shubham Singh (24), Anish Singh (30) residents of Dhoolpet, G. Naresh (24), Naveen Kumar (19) residents of Narketpally, Ms Suneeta (18) resident of Dhoolpet, Ms Rohini (19) resident of Kumarwadi, Tappa Chabutra were arrested. He told that these raids were made at Aramghar crossroads during the search operation. According to the report of the police, Shubham Singh is a professional criminal who is engaged in the transportation of ganja. He was imprisoned seven times in similar cases in the past. Police are in search of the kingpin of this racket, Surender Singh who is absconding. DCP told that ganja was transported from Visakhapatnam area. This gang had taken a house on rental basis is Jalpally area. They were selling ganja at the rate of Rs 5000 per Kg. Present in the press conference were ACP of Rajendra Nagar, Mr Ashok Chakravarti, inspector of police, Rajendranagar, Mr Satish and others. Source: SIASAT NEWS
