Actress Brie Larson was awarded the Best Fight Award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, 2019 for her role as Captain Marvel. The 29-year-old stunned fans when she walked on stage with her two stunt doubles for the film. Brie felt it necessary that the two women, Joanna Bennett and Renae received the credit they deserved. As reported by www.justjarred.com Brie thanked Joanna and Renae for their unending support and hard work, in making the film a grand success. “I wanted to take this moment to really say thank you to these two women who are standing here beside me - these are the women who trained me and were also the stunt doubles for Captain Marvel. I could not have made this film without them. They are really the base line of who she is. They’re the living embodiment of Captain Marvel,” Brie said. Both Joanna and Renae got the opportunity of giving their own speech, where they thanked Brie for her support. They felt it was a “rare acknowledgement” of stunt doubles and was dearly appreciated by both of them.
