NRC fear haunts Muslims in India

A+ A-Hyderabad: Though the National Citizenship Amendment Bill has not been passed in the parliament yet, baseless propaganda is making rounds on social media regarding the implementation of NRC in the whole of India on the lines of Assam. Not realising the gravity of the issue, the social media is fueling the fire. Several posts are making rounds on social media especially on WhatsApp, which are instilling fear among the public. It must be noted that presently NRC is limited to Assam only and no guidelines regarding its implementation in the whole of India have not been made public. Hussamuddin Sani Aqil (Jafar Pasha) Member Muslim Personal Law Board and Ameer Amaraat Millat-e-Islamia Telangana and Andhra Pradesh said that some people are trying to create fear among Muslims through social media posts.

However, every citizen must be prepared with his/her documents. Maulana Md. Hussamuddin Sani Aqil (Jafar Pasha) Member Muslim Personal Law Board and Ameer Amaraat Millat-e-Islamia Telangana and Andhra Pradesh said that some people are trying to create fear among Muslims through social media posts. However, Maulana Jaffer Pasha also exhorted people to be vigilant and get ready with all the required documents to use as proof in case the central government implements NRC.
