Extra Metro trains to run due to Ganesh immersion in Hyderabad

A+ A-Hyderabad: Large crowds were noticed at Khairatabad Metro station on Tuesday, all head for the pandal that hosts the Hyderabad’s largest Khairatabad Ganesh. Over 70,000 commuters used the Khairatabad Station which registered 40,000 exits and 30,000 entries. Also Read Google to help avoid Ganesh immersion processions in HyderabadIn view of Ganesh immersion on September 12 special arrangements will be done at all metro stations in the city and extra trains with 4.5-minute frequency will be run tomorrow, said NVS Reddy Managing Director of HMRL. He further stated that the train timings will also be extended by half an hour to clear the rush, Trains will be run much beyond midnight as per requirement, He added.
