Owing to unending strike, RTC conductor becomes barber

A+ A-Nirmal/Hyderabad: With end in sight for the RTC strike, a bus conductor who had given gave up his caste-based occupation on getting a job in the RTC resumed his work as barber. The conductor Mahipal, 42, had exhausted all savings to feed his family since beginning of the strike two months ago. He joined the RTC as conductor in 2009. Since then he stopped practicing his family occupation. He had settled down in Nirmal.

The conductor Mahipal, 42, had exhausted all savings to feed his family since beginning of the strike two months ago. Mahipal is from Ratnapur Kandli in Nirmal district. He joined the RTC as conductor in 2009. Since then he stopped practicing his family occupation. He had settled down in Nirmal.
