KCR committed to BC welfare: Pocharam

A+ A-Hyderabad: Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today said the State government has allotted Rs 3,367 crore in the annual budget for BC welfare. The meeting was chaired by BC committee chairman Anjaiah. Speaking at the BC Committee meeting on the Assembly premises, the Speaker said proportionate funds were being allotted by the State government for 51 percent of BCs for their welfare. He said the leaders in the committee were committed to BC welfare. He said the KCR Government set up 1,195 gurukuls, two each in one segment giving education to 7.80 lakh BC students.
