A+ A- Hyderabad: In the encounter which took place at Chatanpally village near Shadnagar, the accused in the veterinary doctor’s rape and murder case, Areef received most number of bullet injuries. Shots on the chest As per the details, he got three bullet injuries on his chest and one on the right side of his lower ribcage. According to a report published in TOI, preliminary investigation revealed that most of the accused persons received shots on their chests. It is alleged that Areef had snatched pistol from the cop and open fire. Accused in the case It may be mentioned that in the encounter, all the four accused in the case were shot dead. Other three accused of the case were Chennakesavulu, J Naveen and J Shiva. Meanwhile, a team of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) continued its investigation into the ‘encounter’ killing of the four accused for the second day on Sunday. Missing bullets, shells On the other hand, police is still searching missing bullets and shells as the encounter took place in the agricultural field. Cops are not sure about the number of bullets fired during the encounter.
