Dabeerpura by-election: Low turnout recorded

A+ A-Hyderabad: In Dabeerpura by-election that was held on 22nd January, a low turnout was recorded. In the election, 27.31 percent turnout was recorded. It may be mentioned that the seat became vacant after the Corporator of Dabeerpura, Riyaz-ul-Hassan Effendi got elected as Member of Legislative Council (MLC). In the previous GHMC election, the seat of Dabeerpura was won by MIM. At the Islamic School polling booth near Bibi Ka Alawa, arguments broke out between the Congress and MIM workers.
